What can I expect on my Croptopia Getaways weekend?
You can expect three days of relaxation and fun! Prize Drawings, layout contests, scrapbook classes and lots more! Our events also feature a Marketplace of fabulous vendors, a Creation Station with the latest in scrapbooking tools, deluxe hotel accommodations and lots of pampering! Our commitment is to providing you the ultimate weekend away!
Do I have to pack up my supplies each day?
Absolutely NOT! Scrapbook for a few hours, or until the sun comes up, you decide! Leave everything at your reserved space. Our crop room is open and secured 24 hours.
Can I sit with my friends?
Absolutely! We take great care in our seating plan and do our best to accommodate all requests. Please be sure to indicate your tablemate requests when registering.
How much cropping space will I have?
Each attendee receives ½ of a 6 or 8’ table, depending on hotel inventory. And one of the best parts of a Croptopia Getaway event is that all croppers receive an end seat! That’s right, no long tables pushed together…you’ll have an end seat, guaranteed!
Are there contests and prizes?
Definitely! Croptopia Getaways offers many opportunities for contests and prizes throughout the weekend. One of our attendee’s favorites is our Page Swap! Daily prize drawings, our Sunday afternoon grand prize drawing and our charity raffle are just some of the opportunities for attendees to win super prizes and goodies!
How many people attend Croptopia Getaways events?
Croptopia Getaways averages 100+ croppers at each event and we are rapidly growing! Our reputation over the past four years has grown so that our events fill up fast by word of mouth. Be sure to register early! New for 2008: Invite a new cropping friend (1st time attendee to Croptopia) and you’ll receive an exclusive goodie!
Are children allowed at Croptopia Getaways events?
For the benefit of others, attendees six and older accompanied by a parent are welcome to our events. New for 2008: Our first annual Mother/Daughter Getaway! Visit us later this year for additional details.
What are the “pampering” opportunities?
Our events feature Licensed Massage Therapists from Soothing Events who are on-site to ease those tired muscles. Sign-up early as spots fill fast!
What should I bring?
Casual clothes (layering is best due to the fluctuating temperatures in hotels), zip-lock bags for all the die cuts you make at the Creation Station, a Tag-Along or other closed container for drinks (we do not allow open containers at the crop tables), favorite snacks and your creative spirit!
